Wild Card pinball rules and strategy

The Strategy

In Wild Card, plunge the top saucer for 10,000 and Bonus. After any switch lights the left orbit, make that orbit once to light the spinner, then make it again to light Double Bonus. Complete Aces and Deuces to raise the upper-right chute from 10,000 and one Bonus advance to as much as 30,000 and three advances. Keep the ball moving through the top.

The goal

Use the left orbit twice to reach Double Bonus, then combine top-saucer and upper-right-chute returns with natural Aces and Deuces progress. Avoid forcing the lower award lanes when tournament settings remove their award value.

  1. Plunge the top saucer for 10,000 and one Bonus advance.

  2. After any scoring switch lights the left orbit, shoot the orbit once to light its Double Bonus step.

  3. Shoot the left orbit again to light Double Bonus.

  4. Complete Aces and Deuces when their feeds are controlled so the upper-right chute grows to its higher steps.

  5. Repeat the top saucer and upper-right chute routes to keep adding Bonus without living on the lower playfield.

Machine setup

  • Confirm three- or five-ball play and how Joker, Extra Ball, and Special awards are configured. The first and second full Aces-and-Deuces completions can light lower awards that may instead score points in competition.
  • Test the top saucer, left-orbit lighting sequence, spinner and orbit feeds, Double Bonus lamp, all Aces and Deuces, upper-right chute at all three steps, Bonus advances, Joker lamps, lower award lanes, and target resets.
