X's & O's pinball rules and strategy
The Strategy
X's & O's carries upper-bank, outer-left-lane, and completed X-O-card values between balls. The left orbit and upper-right flipper keep the ball near the drop bank while incidental standup hits fill the card.
The goal
Keep the ball up top through the left orbit and upper-right flipper, and repeatedly complete the upper drop bank as both progressive values rise.
Reach the upper bank
Shoot the outer-left orbit, or feed the upper-right flipper from below.
Repeat the bank
Use the upper-right flipper to complete the upper three-bank. Each completion raises both its value and the outer-left-lane value.
Keep matching symbols
Let standup hits build the X-O card. If one symbol dominates, time later hits to keep that same symbol.

The repeatable upper-playfield loop in X's & O's raises values that carry between balls, while standups fill the carried X-O card. Take the timed short-plunge award, use the left orbit and upper-right flipper to repeat the upper three-bank, and favor one symbol when possible.

- Short-plunge below the shooter-lane switch before the timed skill shot expires for 100,000.
- From the lower flippers, shoot the outer-left orbit or feed the upper-right flipper.
- Use the upper-right flipper to complete the upper three-bank. Each completion raises both the bank and outer-left-lane values.
- Let standup hits fill the X-O card. If one symbol already dominates the card, time later target hits so they keep that same symbol.
- Repeat the upper-playfield route. The completed card and any three-in-a-row bonuses carry between balls.
