Breakshot pinball rules and strategy

The Strategy

Breakshot changes the required shots with the selected pool game. Read the flashing Eight Ball, Nine Ball, or Rotation lamp, use the named ball shots and Super Cues to sink the next ball, and drive a raised captive ball into a flashing side pocket when a lock is available.

The goal

Short-plunge to light Bank Shot, sink the current pool game's required balls, lock captive balls in the side pockets for Ball-O-Rama or Breakshot Frenzy, complete the configured games, attack called balls in Cutthroat Countdown, and collect its center-pocket Super Jackpot.

  1. On the initial plunge, leave the rollovers short to light the Bank Shot skill shot, then shoot its upper-right-flipper lane for 100,000 and one sunk ball.

  2. 7. After the configured number of completed games, shoot each called ball during Cutthroat Countdown.

    • The default first qualification is all three pool games. Each called ball has up to ten seconds, scores at least one million, and adds ten seconds when collected.
  8. When the countdown ends, shoot the center pocket for two million per ball sunk; the Super Jackpot is not multiplied by multiball.

Alternative route: Super Cues and Bank Shot

Use this when the direct ball target or Center Pockets assembly is rejecting.

  1. Hit a flashing colored standup to light the opposite Super Cue.
  2. Shoot the full lit orbit to sink the next available ball.
  3. During Each loop, captive-ball target, or exposed Green or Brown standup sinks the next ball; both Super Cues are always lit., use the always-lit Super Cue that returns more safely.
  4. If the upper-right Bank Shot lane is controlled, build consecutive 100,000-point multiples without touching another switch.
