Gay 90's pinball rules and strategy
The Strategy
Gay 90's uses A and B targets to raise the center post and advance a center-hole value from 50 to 500. Hit either missing target, use the raised post for control, complete both letters, and repeat until the hole shows 400 or 500 before collecting it.
The goal
Hit either A or B to raise the center post, complete both targets to advance the hole, then collect the hole at 400 or 500.
Plunge between the top bumpers and try to cross the white award button.
Send the ball up top when neither A nor B is safely available.
Shoot the missing A or B target from a controlled flipper.
After either target lights, use the raised center post to control the next shot.
Complete A and B to score 200, advance the hole, and reset both targets.
Repeat A-B completions until the hole shows 400 or 500.
Shoot the hole and track its complete kickout.
Use a medium repeat shot if the kickout settles beside the raised post.
After the hole resets to 50, resume A-B building.
Alternative route: Upper-playfield route
Use this plan when the A-B rebounds or hole kickout cannot be controlled.
- Stop direct lower-feature shots.
- Send the ball between the top bumpers.
- Use bumper action for natural A, B, and rotating-award contacts.
- Track the right side of the moving target section.
- Resume the hole plan after either A or B raises the center post.
Need to know
- Top skill plunge
- A full plunge can pass between the top bumpers and cross the white rotating-award button.
- A-B completion
- Lighting either target raises the center post; lighting both scores 200, advances the hole, and resets both targets.
- Hole ladder
- The hole value advances through 50, 100, 200, 300, 400, and 500.
Gay 90's uses A and B targets to raise the center post and advance a center-hole value from 50 to 500. Use upper play when neither target is safe, hit the missing A or B from control, and complete both to advance the hole. Collect at 400 or 500 only after the post is raised and the kickout has been observed.
