Guns N' Roses pinball rules and strategy

The Strategy

Guns N' Roses uses seven band members to qualify a song, and each collected member enables one ball lock that raises the Song Level and extends the song's ball save. Collect all seven members, lock as many balls as you want (six starts the song automatically), then shoot the center scoop to start the offered song. Make the lit song shots, return to the scoop after each completed stage, and shoot the scoop during the final ten seconds for the Applause Jackpot.

The goal

Collect all seven band members, lock balls to raise the Song Level and ball-save time, then start the offered song at the center scoop.

  1. Collect the band

Collect Axl at the top lanes, Slash at the spinning record, Duff at the bass ramp or two left ramps, Dizzy and Melissa at the keyboard inserts, Richard at the center spinner, and Frank at the pop bumpers or right ramp. Collecting all seven qualifies a song at the center scoop.

  2. Lock balls for the song

Each collected band member enables one lock. On Standard Edition, shoot the left ramp twice for each virtual lock; on Limited or Collector's Edition, shoot the upper lock. Each lock raises the starting Song Level and extends the song's ball save. The sixth lock starts the offered song automatically.

  3. How to start a mode

After collecting all seven band members, shoot the center scoop to start the offered song. Make its lit shots and return to the scoop after each completed stage. During the final ten seconds, shoot the scoop for the Applause Jackpot.

Recommended mode: Live and Let Die

It is the shortest song, but selecting it manually gives up the 15 Song Levels awarded for accepting the offered song.

    How to play it

Make the lit song shots and use the center scoop to advance each completed stage. Near the end, return to the scoop for the Applause Jackpot.

Alternative route: Live and Let Die

This is the shortest song, but manual selection gives up the 15 Song Levels awarded for accepting the offered song.

  1. Use the album targets or action button to select Live and Let Die, then shoot the center scoop to start it.
