River Boat pinball rules and strategy

The Strategy

Hit the side Joker targets until all three Jokers are lit during the same ball. Then collect the configured Special at either the center swinging target or the top-center rollover. If the Joker route is not developing safely, complete 5 through 9 for the left bottom rollover or 10 through Ace for the right bottom rollover, and take those lit awards only when the feed is controlled.

The goal

Light all three Jokers in one ball, then collect the lit center swinging target or top-center rollover; use either five-card straight as the lower-risk alternate build.

  1. Start with the side Joker targets and keep the ball away from a dangerous rebound while building all three Jokers on the same ball.

  2. Once all three Jokers are lit, collect the configured Special at the center swinging target or top-center rollover, choosing whichever approach is controlled on that copy.

  3. If the Joker targets are not arriving safely, build 5-6-7-8-9 to light the left bottom rollover or 10-Jack-Queen-King-Ace to light the right bottom rollover.

  4. Take a lit bottom rollover only from a controlled feed; its location near the drain makes the award a result of the route, not a reason to throw away the ball.

  5. Use the green and yellow jet bumpers as incidental progress toward the 100-point roll-under gate while rebuilding the Joker or straight route.
