Star Gazer pinball rules and strategy
The Strategy
In Star Gazer, a flipper-adjacent star rollover can light the opposite lower spinner for 2,000 per spin, while the upper-left bank locks that spinner's displayed value. Repeat a lit lower spinner, or hit the upper-left bank when its spinner shows 4,000 and then repeat that spinner. Complete lower drop banks later to raise the held bonus to 10x.
The goal
Use the star rollovers to light a lower spinner, lock the upper-left spinner at 4,000, then build held bonus and complete lower banks for up to 10x.
Light a lower spinner
Roll over the star button beside a flipper when its spinner-light position is on, then shoot the opposite lower spinner for 2,000 per spin.
Lock the upper-left spinner at 4,000
Watch the cycling upper-left-spinner value. When it shows 4,000, hit one target in the adjacent three-bank to lock that value, then keep shooting the spinner.
Build held bonus and Bonus X
Hit lit zodiac drops and star rollovers to build base bonus. When the base is large, complete either lower drop bank and repeat until the lit 1-2-3-4 values total 10x.

Star rollover scoring and timing
- Star rollover: Its four lamps cycle. The top and third positions collect a zodiac symbol. The other two positions light the opposite lower spinner.
- The lit spinner stays at 2,000 per spin until it stops. If the ball returns to a flipper in time, shoot the same spinner again before it stops to keep the 10X lamp lit.
- Watch the cycling upper-left-spinner value. When it shows 4,000, hit one target in the adjacent three-bank to lock the value.
Variable spinner scoring details
- Variable spinner: The first bank hit locks the currently displayed spinner value until the bank resets.
- The same hit locks the displayed bank-completion value. When the spinner value is high, the bank-completion value is low, and vice versa.
- Keep shooting the upper-left spinner for 4,000 per spin. If a lower value was locked, complete the adjacent bank to reset it, then time the first target hit for 4,000.
- Hit lit zodiac drop targets, or let bumper rebounds strike them. Roll over a star button when its top or third lamp is lit. Build base bonus before you force the lower banks.
